Dr. Alejandro Miranda is a researcher in the Department of Forest Science at Universidad de La Frontera in Chile. He also acts as a researcher at the Center for Climate and Resilience Research (CR2). Alejandro currently focuses his research on understanding the effects of anthropogenic activity on forest ecosystems, examining the ecological patterns and processes involved in studying the impacts of land use, fire regimes, and global change. Dr. Miranda’s research interests include landscape ecology, remote sensing, spatial ecological modeling and forest ecology.
