Dr. Anne Ganteaume is a senior researcher at the Institut National de recherche pour l’agriculture, l’alimentation et l’environnement (INRAE). She has been working on the topic of fire risk since 2006. She holds a doctorate in ecology from the University of Aix-Marseille since 1993 and obtained her accreditation to direct research in 2014.

Her work is part of European and national research programs. Her research interests include fire ecology: flammability and combustibility of Mediterranean vegetation, characterization of fuel structure and fire propagation, particularly in the interfaces between urban areas and forests, as well as the causes of fire outbreaks and fire risk assessment.
