His efforts focus on aligning post-disaster reconstruction with proven standards such as Chapter 7A of the California Building Code and the implementation of “Zone 0” defensible space requirements and advocates for data-driven policy and enforcement strategies that enhance public safety, reduce structural vulnerability, and support long-term resilience.
